Reform Restore

Restore your strength. Rebuild your confidence.

Reform Restore is a specialist, physiotherapist-led small group postnatal Reformer Pilates programme designed to help you return to exercise safely and confidently after having your baby.

Led by our Women's Health Physiotherapist, each 45-minute session focuses on rebuilding strength from the inside out. The programme aims to restore core function, reconnect with your pelvic floor, improve posture, enhance mobility, and gradually rebuild whole-body strength to support the physical demands of motherhood.

Whether you've had a vaginal birth or a caesarean section, exercises are individually progressed to suit your stage of recovery, symptoms and goals. Sessions also address common postnatal concerns such as abdominal muscle separation (diastasis recti), pelvic floor dysfunction, back pain, neck and shoulder tension, and returning to everyday activities and exercise.

With a maximum of 4 participants per class, you'll receive individual guidance in a welcoming and supportive environment where every exercise can be adapted to your needs and recovery.

Babies are welcome to attend the class with you, making it easier to prioritise your own recovery without needing childcare. We ask that babies remain your responsibility throughout the session and, where possible, are brought in a car seat, pram or on a play mat until they become mobile.

Reform Restore provides a safe, supportive space to rebuild confidence in your body, connect with other new mums and invest in your recovery while your baby is by your side.

Who can attend?

Reform Restore is suitable for women from 6 weeks following a vaginal birth or 8–12 weeks following a caesarean section (or once medically cleared by your healthcare professional), provided you have had an uncomplicated recovery and feel ready to return to exercise.

Before attending, all participants are required to complete a postnatal health screening questionnaire. This enables us to ensure that a group setting is appropriate and allows exercises to be tailored to your individual recovery.

As every postnatal journey is different, some women may benefit from beginning with a 1:1 physiotherapy-led Reformer session before joining a group class. This allows for a comprehensive assessment, including pelvic floor function, abdominal wall recovery, movement assessment and individual rehabilitation before progressing into a small group setting.

If, following your screening questionnaire or initial discussion, we feel that a group class is not currently the most appropriate option, we may recommend 1:1 sessions to ensure you receive the safest and most personalised care.

What's Included
